Informal Learning

I am deeply invested in connecting the public with science outside of the classroom. My interest in informal learning began when I was in middle school and was nurtured and developed through an NSF-funded informal learning fellowship I received while in grad school (through the Center for Informal Learning and Science at UC Santa Cruz).

I regularly participate in outreach events and am a faculty affiliate of the Center for Public Engagement with Science at the University of Cincinnati (https://www.artsci.uc.edu/research/centers-institutes/cpes.html).

Below are some examples of the kind of work I do, or have done.
